1. The customer or their authorised representative bears full responsibility for ensuring the following before and after installation:

   1. ​Verification that the vehicle does not exhibit any new body marks or scratches.

   2. Confirmation that no new engine or dashboard warning lights have appeared.

   3. Verification of the proper functioning of all park distance control sensors.

   4. Confirmation that all vehicle lights are operating as they did before the installation.

All information presented on the Towbar Legends Pty Ltd website, social media channels, and other marketing platforms, or conveyed over the phone by Towbar Legends Pty Ltd employees is offered in good faith. We do not make any representation or warranty, whether express or implied, regarding the accuracy, adequacy, validity, reliability, availability, or completeness of any information provided by us. Towbar Legends Pty Ltd, along with its employees and directors shall not be held liable for any actions or decisions made based on the information provided. Use of our services and platforms constitutes acceptance of this disclaimer.

3. Towbar Legends Pty Ltd installs two types of towbars: the branded South African Bureau of Standards (SABS) approved towbars and the in-house fabricated non-approved towbars. Should the customer choose the latter, it shall be their sole responsibility to independently assess the potential implications of their choice on the vehicle's manufacturer's warranty and insurance coverage. Towbar Legends Pty Ltd shall bear no responsibility in the event that the vehicle's warranty or insurance coverage is adversely affected as a result of such an installation.

4. Some towbars come with vehicle-specific wiring harnesses (plug and play) while others come with universal wiring harnesses or normal wiring with splice connectors. The customer is responsible for independently verifying with the manufacturer and insurer if either wiring harness will have any implications on the vehicle's manufacturer's warranty and insurance coverage.

5. Towbar Legends Pty Ltd does not accept or take any responsibility or liability for the safe custody of any vehicles or articles therein nor for any damage to vehicles or articles therein nor for any injuries or loss to any persons whether as a result of the negligence of the employee of Towbar Legends Pty Ltd or any cause whatsoever including but without limiting the generality, collision, fires, theft, rain or hail. All vehicles are parked or driven in all respects at the risk of the owner thereof and all persons entering the workshop do so at their own risk.
